Machine, applies the same principles as the age old Chinese therapies of acupuncture and massage without piercing the skin.

SUNTOWN Acupuncture and Massage Machines have gone through clinical observation in the Guanganmen Hospital of Chinese medical research institute since July 1991. In a short span of 3 months, 102 patients (58 male, 44 female) involved in treatment 94 percent of total effective rate has been achieved, in which 61 percent possess a obvious result. We combine all symptoms and list five groups of diagnosis. See the below note.

2. effective: Symptoms reduce, and function partially returns.

Cases:

(1) Wang Zhihui, aged 31, took two days of medicine for toothache without effect at the sub-right side. Diagnosis was nervous toothache, and sleep was disturbed. She went to see the doctor in the afternoon of 26 July, 1991. Treatment was applied on two pairs of meridian points with SAMM. Symptoms lightened after one treatment and pain died away the next day.

(2) Li Shumin, 33 years old, accountant in Guanganmen Hospital of Chinese Medical Research Institute. Pain in the right foot exacerbated, and was diagnosed as bubo lymplinoditis. She used SAMM on 13 August. Three treatments later pain reduced distinctly, and symptoms disappeared completely after the fifth treatment. Functions return to normal.

(3) Zliang Xiaoyan who is 36 years old and works in Food & Oil Coporation suffered from acute lumbar vertebral sprain due to excessive movement at work. Symptoms alleviated after one process of physical massage on 22 July, But pain returned and hasn't been eased until 26th when SAMM was applied for four treatments starting from 23rd. She now enjoys free activities and has gone back to work.

(4) Wang Shuwen, Aged 41 General Engineer of Daqing Oil reserch Institute. Patient felt painful on cervical vertebrae after getting up. X rays show hyperosteogeny of the fourth and fifth cervical vertebrae. Lumbar and leg muscle ached and the calf swelled, which was diagnosed as lumbomuscular strain. SAMM was used on 17 August. Three treatments later pain was reduced. Lumbar and leg pain vanished after the seventh treatment and the neck can move freely.

(5) Dong Wenxong, aged 58, working in light industry bureau, felt painful at the upper and lower part of the knee and dared not to move leg with force. X rays show patellocartillaginous inflammation and no pathologic changes. He started to use SAMM on 31 August, 1991, Pain reduced two treatments later and disappeared after the fourth treatment. Now he can move legs freely.

Brief Summary:

Clinical Observations have proved that SAMM is safe with highly stable treatment performances. Adverse reaction such as painful or hot sensation, allergy or other discomforts have not been found. An ideal result can be achieved on acute, chronic diseases. Fast effectiveness and radical cure are beyond any doubt on acute nervous pain. Some improvements have been made on certain long term stubborn diseases after one or a few courses of treatment. Patients easily accept treatments and have positive responses regarding the instrument.

We accumulate rich clinical experience through the treatments on hundreds of patients. New methods improved the circuit and new series of instrument have been designed, which laid foundations for later research.
